As part of the historic 2022 series by Macondo Herald, this piece comes directly from our permanent archive and will never be reprinted, establishing it as an exclusive and irreplaceable collector’s item of modern Latin American print history.
Measuring 50 × 70 cm, this poster is a handcrafted linocut engraving meticulously carved and prepared by our master printers. It is printed on 150-gram Earth Pact paper, an eco-conscious substrate crafted from sugarcane fiber without tree felling or harsh bleaching chemicals. The natural, organic texture of the paper provides tactile warmth that enhances the deep contrast, raw ink impressions, and bold spirit of the carved composition.
Brought to life on our historic 1870 Marinoni and 1890 Reliance presses, every print is an authentic piece of letterpress history pulled entirely by hand in our Cali workshop. The manual, late 19th-century process produces subtle variations in ink transfer and impression depth, ensuring that each individual copy stands as a one-of-a-kind work of art.
