This vibrant piece, titled “Con un Encebellado la vida es más linda,” is a celebration of the coastal soul and one of the most iconic culinary traditions of the Pacific. Created by artist Cristian Tapia, the poster features a clever play on words that blends the beloved fish stew, Encebollado, with the word Bello (Beautiful), suggesting that life truly is better with this traditional comfort food. The design draws heavy inspiration from Latin American “Gráfica Popular”—the bold, high-contrast aesthetic found in bustling local markets and street corners. Each 50 x 70 cm poster is a hand-carved linocut engraving produced by the master printers of La Linterna and printed on sustainable 150-gram Earth Pact paper made from sugarcane fiber. Brought to life on our historic 1870 and 1890 presses, the artisanal nature of the process ensures that every print has unique tonal variations, making each piece a one-of-a-kind tribute to regional heritage.
