Fiesta Popular 2 – Limited Edition Letterpress Poster

A companion piece to the celebrated series honoring community street culture, “Fiesta Popular 2” channels the unbridled rhythm, brass notes, and collective pulse that define neighborhood gatherings across Latin America. Sized in an intimate mid-format, the artwork uses dynamic, hand-carved relief lines and high-contrast composition to evoke the heat of the dance floor, the swell of live salsa, and the timeless tradition of transforming city streets into communal sanctuaries of celebration.

Printed on fine 100% cotton watercolor (acuarela) paper, this premium archival substrate provides substantial weight, a soft tooth, and a luxurious, tactile finish. This acid-free fine art paper absorbs the relief inks with deep saturation, giving exceptional richness and enduring longevity to every carved detail and contrast.

Pulled manually on our historic 1870 Marinoni and 1890 Reliance presses, each print is a tangible artifact of Latin American graphic heritage. The century-old mechanical pull imparts subtle, natural variations in ink density and tonal depth to every individual piece, ensuring that your copy is a distinct, one-of-a-kind treasure born from authentic Cali printmaking tradition.
