Celebrate the intellectual soul and the cinematic vision of the “Poet of Salsa.” This powerful poster is a centerpiece of the Váyalo 2025 collection, honoring the legendary Ruben Blades. More than a musician, Blades transformed the genre into a medium for social storytelling and political reflection—reminding us that Salsa can be as profound as it is danceable.

This artwork captures the sharp, observant, and dignified essence of Ruben Blades, the man who gave a voice to “Pedro Navaja” and “Pablo Pueblo.” It is a visual representation of the artist who elevated the barrio’s narrative to a global stage, proving that rhythm and intellect are inseparable.

This poster is printed on 150g Earth Pact paper, an eco-friendly stock made from 100% sugar cane fiber. The artwork was meticulously hand-carved into linoleum by the Maestros of La Linterna, translating the iconic features and thoughtful aura of Blades into a bold, tactile visual. Each piece is individually struck on our historic typographic presses dating back to the 1870s and 1890s, ensuring that the physical weight of history and the “crónica” of his lyrics are felt in every print.
