Description

The result of an invitation to five artists, this graphic piece captures a distinct element of the world of Fruko. Each design pays homage to a song from the extensive career of this Colombian musical icon. The project offered a contemporary interpretation of various stages of Fruko’s life, brought to life using historic presses from the 1870s and 1890s – machines with a history in Cali, likely having seen Fruko’s presence many times. La Linterna and its team produced these pieces, which stand as a visual testament to the musical legacy of Maestro Fruko.

This poster is printed on 150gsm Earth Pact paper, with the design linoleum carved by “Resident Artists” and brought to life on presses from the 1870s and 1890s. Please note that the original colors may exhibit slight variations compared to the photograph.
